He made it known that she did not leave his side and was present in the hospital while he battled for his life.

He said: “There was a lot of speculation that maybe I was no longer with my wife and that is why she was in Lagos while I was battling for my life in Abuja.
People are very attracted to bad news in this country. Bad news sells like hot cake. But immediately it happened, my wife was summoned to Abuja.
She flew immediately and stayed with me all through. I went through two brain surgeries.
She was there the whole time in the hospital. I also realized that sometimes people pass away in hospitals simply because there’s no help.
But here I was in such a critical condition and help kept coming.”
