This action followed repeated attacks in the area, signaling authorities’ resolve to dismantle terrorist infrastructure.

Security forces identified the site through intelligence after recent bandit incursions disrupted local communities.

The demolition marks the first phase of broader efforts to neutralize threats from ISWAP and affiliated bandits.

Residents welcome the move as it restores confidence in government protection.

Wahalaupdate reports that several months ago, controversial cleric Sheikh Gumi claimed over 90 percent of terrorists in Kogi State and the South-West consist of Ebira youths.

He alleged extremists indoctrinated them with radical ideologies.

Gumi’s statement sparked widespread debate across Nigeria’s security landscape.

Many challenged his ethnic profiling of the Ebira community amid rising banditry concerns.

Authorities have not officially responded to these allegations.
