The family of 29-year-old interior designer, Deborah Eneyi Okwori, popularly known as Deb’rah Porsche, has spoken out about the ugly incident that led to her brutal death.
As gathered by Wahalaupdate, Deborah was allegedly murdered by her ex-lover, Ugali “Lintez” last Wednesday in her Ogba apartment.
The victim’s elder sister, Hope, revealed that the suspect had continued to harass Deborah even after their relationship ended more than a year ago.
According to her, he constantly used different phone numbers and social media accounts to reach the deceased, often making threats.
“At one point, he reportedly faked illness in an attempt to lure her back,” Hope stated.
Earlier reports said suspect disguised himself as dispatch rider to enter Deborah’s estate.
At the time, she was alone at home, as her sisters had gone to work.
Hope explained that the assailant first cut the kitchen gas pipe outside the apartment, apparently intending to cause an explosion.
“When this failed, he forced his way into the flat and attacked Deborah, stabbing her multiple times in the back and chest.”
As reported, neighbors who responded to her cries for help found her in critical condition.
The suspect, however, pretended to be unconscious on the floor, later claiming he had also been attacked.
Witnesses dismissed the claim, insisting there were no visible injuries on him.
Medical personnel confirmed Deborah’s death shortly after they rushed her to a nearby hospital.
Doctors stated that one of the stab wounds to her back had punctured her lungs, leading to her death.
The sister of the victim further alleged that the suspect had a history of violent behavior.
She said his threats forced his ex-girlfriend to relocate.
She added that Deborah once told the family about his warning that if he could not marry her, “blood would flow.”
The family described the deceased as hardworking and ambitious.
Noting that she had just secured a N13 million contract in her interior design business and was about to sign another.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the incident through its Deputy Public Relations Officer, DSP Babaseyi B. Oluseyi.
He confirmed transferring the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti for further investigation.
