Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, will on Monday commission 1.4 kilometres of newly constructed internal roads at the State Police Headquarters, Ikot Akpan Abia.
The project, according to a statement issued by the State Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Umanah, is part of the Governor’s commitment to strengthening security infrastructure and improving the working environment for security personnel.
The statement divulged that with this project, “the total length of roads undertaken or completed by the administration now exceeds 965 kilometres.”
The event is scheduled for 4 p.m. today at the Police Headquarters, Ikot Akpan Abia, Uyo.
Members of the public, stakeholders, security agencies, and the media have been cordially invited to attend.
