The Management of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, led by Dr Samuel Ogbuku, has constituted a Project Verification and Payment Committee.
This followed one of the resolutions reached at the 9th meeting of the 7th Governing Board of the Commission held on December 8, 2025.

Federal Government mandated all MDAs to digitize operations and go paperless by December 31, 2025, prompting the Project Verification Committee’s swift formation.

The projects to be verified include infrastructural, electrification, environmental, desilting, and water supply projects.
Sir Victor Antai, Executive Director of Projects, joins as key member, bringing hands-on implementation knowledge to ensure thorough project evaluations.
Mr. Victor Arenyeka (Legal Director) acts as Secretary for compliance; Gbenga Omowanle (Project Monitoring) brings supervision expertise as member.
Mrs. Kunemefa Asu (Finance Director) and Mr. Lucky Ogbuji (Internal Audit) finalize the committee, ensuring financial integrity and rigorous audits.
