Na So E take Happen for, June 14, 2025 for Benue State as gbege burst again as di Principal Special Assistant (PSA) to Governor Alia, Hon. Atu Terver Joseph, decide to sack him own Chief of Staff, Mr. John Ukeyima, and Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr. Lubem Terkula.

Why? Because these two oga dem waka join protest against di killings wey dey happen for di state.

You hear am well? Dem sack dem for protesting!

Chief of Staff and CPS Join Protest, Dem No Like Am

On June 14, when hundreds of angry Benue youths gather for Makurdi to shout against di killing of nearly 250 pipo for Yelewata, Guma Local Government Area, di Chief of Staff and CPS no siddon look.

Dem waka join di protest to show say dem no dey happy with how things dey go on.

But instead of praise, di PSA come write letter to dem, sack dem immediately.

Di letter talk say dem dey work against di government and breach di trust wey dem get.

E talk say dem no go fit do any official work or represent di office again.

    Wahala full ground!

Di Letter Wey Sack Dem: Drama Full Ground

Di letter wey Hon. Atu Terver Joseph write to di two men talk say:

“Dis letter na formal notification to inform una say una don dey suspended immediately and indefinitely from una position as Chief of Staff and Chief Press Secretary, effective today, June 14, 2025.

and dis decision na because of una action wey dey against di explicit directives of una Principal.

Dis kain behavior na serious breach of una duties and di trust wey dey una office.

During dis suspension, una no go fit do any official duty or represent dis office or me in any way.”

Imagine! You be Chief of Staff or CPS, you just waka protest for your own state, and na so you go get your letter of sack? Na so Benue government dey handle matter.

Protest for Makurdi: Youths No Dey Joke

Di protest wey trigger all dis palava na serious one.

Hundreds of Benue youths gather for Makurdi, dressed in black, carrying placards, shouting for justice.

Dem want make di whole world hear their cry about the killings wey dey happen for their communities by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Di recent attack for Yelewata community wey nearly 250 pipo die na di last straw.

Di youths no gree again. Dem want government to do something fast or else.

    Who Dey Protect Who?

Make we talk true, di government wey suppose protect di pipo, ehn, e just dey sack pipo wey show say dem no happy with di killings.

Instead of fixing di problem, dem dey punish those wey stand for justice.

You go think say Chief of Staff and CPS suppose dey lead from front, but na so dem take lose their jobs for joining protest.

E be like say for Benue, if you no gree with government, you no go last.

Di Big Question: Wetin Government Dey Do?

Na so di pipo dey ask now:

who go protect Benue pipo? Di youths dey protest, government dey sack their own aides, and killers still dey roam free.

Di whole matter dey funny somehow because e show say government no serious.

If you be government, you go sack your own pipo for joining protest? Na so dem dey do for Benue.

E be like say na only silence and fear government want, no be justice.

    Benue State Still Bleeding

As e be now, Benue State still dey bleed from the massacre.

Di youths dey shout, government dey punish, and peace no dey anywhere.

Di sacking of Chief of Staff and CPS na clear message say government no ready to face di problem head-on.

But one thing sure: di pipo no go stop to demand justice.

Di protest no go end here. Di question be, how many more pipo go die before government wake up?

For now, na only drama and controversy dey for Benue State.

Di youths dey protest, di government dey sack, and di killers dey still dey free.

Who go save Benue? Na di big question wey everybody dey wait answer for.
