Kallas Convenes Extraordinary Foreign Affairs Council on Iran, Middle East Crisis

Kallas stated, “I will convene an extraordinary Foreign Affairs Council via video link on Sunday to address Iran and the rapidly unfolding events across the Middle East.”

“The Iranian regime’s indiscriminate attacks against its neighbours carry the risk of dragging the region into a broader war, and we condemn this.”

The EU announcement followed a coordinated strikes by the United States and Israel on Saturday.

Targets in Iranian cities, including Tehran, faced intense attacks.

Explosions rocked the capital, sending plumes of thick smoke skyward.

Regional tensions escalated dramatically in response to these bold moves.

Witnesses reported massive blasts shaking buildings across Tehran and other key locations.

Fireballs lit up the night as missiles struck military and strategic sites.

Iranian air defenses struggled against the barrage from US and Israeli forces.

Casualties mounted amid the chaos of sudden aggression.

Plumes of black smoke billowed high over the skyline of Iran’s capital city.

Emergency services rushed to contain fires from precision-guided munitions impacts.

Civilians fled streets filled with debris from collapsed structures and shattered glass.

The strikes marked a sharp escalation in longstanding conflicts.

World leaders condemned the actions, calling for immediate diplomatic intervention now.

EU Schedules Emergency Talks on Rapidly Unfolding Iran Crisis

The EU scheduled emergency talks to address the crisis unfolding rapidly.

Fears of broader war gripped the Middle East amid rising hostilities. Global markets tumbled on news of the violent confrontations.

United States President, Donald Trump, said Washington’s objective was “eliminating imminent threats” from Iran.

In a video message posted on his social media platform, Trump reveals, “The United States’ military began major combat operations in Iran.”

He added, “We are going to destroy their missiles and raze their missile industry to the ground. It will be totally, again, obliterated. We’re going to annihilate their navy.”

Israeli Defence Minister, Israel Katz, described the action as a “preventive strike.”

The United States said Iran’s retaliatory attacks had caused no reported American casualties.

Pentagon: Minimal US Damage Despite Intense Iranian Assaults

The Pentagon stated damage to US installations remained minimal despite intense Iranian assaults.

Officials described a barrage of missiles and drones launched overnight aggressively.

American defenses intercepted most threats effectively, limiting any significant structural harm overall.

Tensions surged after Iran’s bold retaliatory strikes on key bases.

Military spokespersons highlighted advanced systems that neutralized the majority of incoming projectiles swiftly.

Patriot batteries and fighter jets worked in tandem to counter the assault.

Minimal casualties reported among US personnel stationed at vulnerable forward positions.

Iran claimed successful hits, but evidence suggested otherwise clearly.

Satellite imagery confirmed light scorch marks on runways and minor facility disruptions only.

No major operational setbacks occurred from the barrage of drones and missiles.

Pentagon Praises Forces’ Resilience Amid Escalating Regional Hostilities

Pentagon leaders praised the resilience of forces amid escalating regional hostilities now.

Preparations ramped up for potential further Iranian aggression soon.

Critics questioned the minimal damage assessment amid visible smoke and debris footage.

Lawmakers demanded transparency on the true extent of threats faced recently.

The White House backed Pentagon claims while urging de-escalation urgently.

Global allies monitored the volatile situation with growing concern daily.

In a statement, the United States Central Command said, “CENTCOM forces successfully defended against hundreds of Iranian missile and drone attacks.”

“There have been no reports of US casualties or combat-related injuries. Damage to US installations was minimal and has not impacted operations,” it added.
