The Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission has officially scheduled the 2024 and 2025 Pre-Compulsory Examination cycle, a critical career advancement exercise for Executive Officers and Allied Grades.
The process will be conducted in two stages: a mandatory preparatory seminar followed by the main examination.
In a circular signed by Ini I. Udo on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, all registered candidates are directed to attend both events.
The Pre-Examination Seminar is set for Monday, 29th December 2025 at the Civil Service Training Centre in Uyo, starting at 8:00 a.m. Its purpose is to brief candidates on the examination format, procedures, and essential guidelines.
The main Compulsory Examination will then hold on Tuesday, 6th January 2026 at the same venue and time.
The commission mandates that all candidates must bring their original registration slip, valid Staff Identity Card, and writing materials to the seminar.
The circular emphasizes that the information should be given the widest publicity to ensure all eligible officers across the state are adequately informed.
All affected staff are urged to note the dates and prepare accordingly.
