Apostle Abasiandikan Nkono, the Akwa Ibom State representative on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has donated eleven internet routers to ensure a seamless All Progressives Congress (APC) e-registration exercise across Eket Local Government Area.
The donation, comprising one router for each of the eleven wards in Eket community.
Party stakeholders received the presentation on Thursday, January 23, during their meeting.
Apostle Nkono: Gesture Ensures Smooth Registration
Apostle Nkono explained that he intended the gesture to guarantee smooth registration and prevent internet failure disruptions.
He stressed that with Eket is one of the state’s most populous areas.
Providing reliable connectivity would boost the numerical strength of the party in the ongoing registration drive.
Apostle Nkono Commit Transparently To Register All Members
Addressing party officials at the event, Apostle Nkono urged enumerators and supervisors to carry out their duties with commitment and transparency.
This is to ensure that all intending members are duly registered.
“The eleven routers are for the eleven wards in Eket. Each ward is entitled to one.
With these devices, the registration of our party men and women would be seamless and successful.
“The party registration agents should commit and stay transparent.”
“Register all intending members without conditions,” he stated.

Nkono urges Eket residents: Register PVCs, join APC
Also the INEC continuous voter registration to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs).
And we need to get them to join the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“We need to go to all nooks and crannies of our local government area and mobilize those who are 18 years and above to take advantage of the INEC continued voters’ registration.
Pastor Frank Archibong, State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, convened the stakeholders’ meeting.
He stated he aimed to mobilize the party’s structure and stakeholders for successful APC and INEC registration.
