ADC non-indigenes in Jigawa State blasted INEC’s “tyrannical” delisting of party leadership April 2, 2026. They decried it as undemocratic overreach stifling internal democratic processes ruthlessly.
This move disenfranchises loyal members, they roared, demanding immediate reinstatement now. INEC’s bias favors factions, eroding electoral fairness ahead of crucial polls.
Jigawa ADC Vows Protests Against INEC Overreach
Jigawa chapter vows resistance, rallying nationwide support against INEC’s power grab. Reinstatement or protests loom, safeguarding ADC’s unity and voter choice integrity.
ADC Non-Indigenes Jigawa State, voicing diverse community interests within African Democratic Congress, fiercely condemns INEC. This prominent wing rejects the electoral body’s overreach outright.
INEC’s decision to delist National Working Committee names shocks us deeply. Led by Senator David Mark as chairman, the NWC earned legitimate mandate democratically.
Portal erasure undermines internal party autonomy, favoring rival factions unlawfully. Non-indigenes in Jigawa stand united, defending elected leaders against bureaucratic sabotage now.
INEC’s Tyranny Disenfranchises Millions, ADC Demands Reversal
This tyrannical act disenfranchises millions, eroding trust in Nigeria’s electoral process. We demand INEC reverse course, restoring NWC listings immediately without further delay.
Jigawa’s ADC vows relentless advocacy, mobilizing nationwide for justice. INEC must respect court rulings, halting interference in party leadership disputes promptly.
An Assault on Democratic Inclusion
As a body representing thousands of Nigerians from various ethnic backgrounds who have made Jigawa State their home, we view INEC’s action not just as a technical error, but as a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise the growing support base of the ADC.
This “administrative coup” follows the recent influx of high-profile leaders into our party, signaling a desperate move by the ruling establishment to use state institutions to stifle legitimate opposition.
INEC’s Misinterpretation of Judicial Orders
We find it alarming that INEC has chosen to interpret the Court of Appeal’s directive to “maintain the status quo” as a license to delete our recognized leadership.
By removing these names, INEC is actively altering the status quo and creating a dangerous leadership vacuum.
This action directly contradicts the Commission’s mandate to remain a neutral and fair umpire.
Our Core Demands:
- Immediate Reinstatement: We demand the immediate restoration of the Senator David Mark-led NWC to the official INEC portal.
- Respect for Internal Democracy: INEC must acknowledge the leadership that emerged from the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on July 29, 2025.
- End to Political Sabotage: We call on the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner for Jigawa State and the National Chairman to resist external pressures aimed at destabilizing the ADC in Jigawa and across the federation.
A Call to Action
The Non-Indigenes Jigawa State ADC Vanguard will not be silenced.
We remain committed to the ADC as the only credible alternative for Nigerians.
If this “illegal” delisting is not reversed immediately, we are prepared to mobilize our members across the 27 Local Government Areas of Jigawa State for peaceful protests to protect the integrity of our democracy.
Jigawa ADC Backs Leadership, Eyes 2027 Sweep
Unity fuels our resolve, mobilizing grassroots warriors for electoral dominance ahead. Jigawa’s diverse voices amplify NWC’s mandate, crushing factional plots ruthlessly.
Victory demands vigilance; we rally nationwide, turning INEC’s misstep into momentum. 2027 dawns with ADC power, rewarding loyalists who fought undaunted.
