Apostle Nkono delivered his charge on Wednesday in Uyo, speaking directly to journalists after the training’s closing ceremony.
The intensive six-week CNG Autogas Conversion program had just wrapped up successfully at a key location.
It took place at the Dakkada Skills Acquisition Centre in Ikot Ada Idem, Ibiono Ibom LGA.
This event marked a milestone, empowering graduates amid Nigeria’s push for cleaner energy solutions nationwide.

These trainees hailed from all nine NDDC mandate states, showcasing broad inclusivity and unity.
The Board member highlighted this as deliberate proof of the Commission’s unwavering dedication.
It equips Niger Deltans with globally relevant skills, boosting employability in the modern energy sector.
“This training was not only about collecting a certificate; it was about creating solutions to our energy needs.”
Ogbuku: CNG Trainees Equipped for Self-Reliance, Economic Boost
Just as our Managing Director, Chief Samuel Ogbuku, pointed out, they have been equipped to become self-reliant and contribute to the economy of the region and nation.
“I congratulate and wish them well,” he asserted.

The Commissioner also enjoined the graduands to make judicious use of the toolkits and starter packs offered.
“Those toolkits they are going home with are not for sale. I urge them not to mortgage their future for quick gains.”
The event had representatives from the PI-CNG, Akwa Ibom State Government, NELFUND, and the management of the Dakkada Skills Acquisition Centre in attendance.
