Ahead of Saturday’s Area Council election polls, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun has ordered the redeployment of Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to FCT Commissioner of Police (CP), Miller Dantawaye, he disclosed and confirmed that the redeployment has been carried out.
Dantawaye stated that this proactive measure belongs to a broad security plan for the upcoming election polls.
