Nollywood actor Yul Edochie recently stated that the presidential ambition of former Governor Peter Obi, under the African Democratic Congress, is effectively dead on arrival regarding the next cycle.
He expressed strong skepticism about Obi’s potential success with the ADC, suggesting that the move lacks the necessary political foundation required to challenge the established dominant parties in Nigeria.
Wahalaupdate reports that Yul Edochie, in a post via his 𝕏 handle, said that any political party that Peter Obi joins will scatter and be a total waste of people’s time and efforts.
According to the movie star, the problem with the former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate is not physical.
And he is surprised that Peter Obi is either unaware of it or knows it but chooses to ignore it.
Yul maintained that Peter Obi cannot be the president of Nigeria at the moment.

He wrote, “Any political party Peter Obi joins will scatter.
“I’m surprised he doesn’t know this already. Or maybe he knows but chooses to ignore it.
But the truth remains the truth. Peter Obi cannot be President of Nigeria now.”
He argued that political diversity must be respected within the ethnic group.
He made his view known on Saturday through a post on 𝕏 , where he strongly condemned those calling out other Igbos for supporting the president’s second-term ambition.
According to him, true unity means transcending tribes, recognizing diverse supporters across Nigeria in the same movement.
He questioned why those critics do not direct the same energy toward people from other regions who are also in support of Tinubu.
