Nollywood actor Prince Eke slammed Nigerian celebrities, declaring them unworthy to influence the public due to their silence on key issues.

He criticized their reluctance to speak against bad governance, prioritizing personal gain over national advocacy and responsibility.

Wahalaupdate reports Nollywood actor Prince Eke stated on Instagram that celebrities fail to condemn bad governance in Nigeria.

Eke: Celebrities Await Politicians’ Peanuts, Ditch Advocacy

He explained they await politicians’ peanuts to dance at campaigns, prioritizing personal gain over principled public advocacy.

According to the movie star, rather than demanding a working system for the film industry that allows them to earn royalties from their movies.

Celebrities Let Politicians Destroy Nigeria for Gain

Celebrities prefer politicians using them while those politicians destroy the country.

Prince Eke added that numerous celebrities face financial desperation, leaving them broke and eager to compromise principles for quick gains.

They willingly sell their conscience to the highest bidder, abandoning integrity amid Nigeria’s pressing governance challenges and public needs.

Eke: Celebrity Betrayal Undermines Influence, Urges Patriotism

This betrayal undermines their influence, as Eke urges true patriotism over transactional loyalty to political opportunists.

He wrote, “The earlier you understand that most of these so-called celebrities are not worth being influenced by, the better for you.

Actors, Musicians Silent as Corruption Drowns Nigeria

Actors and musicians alike watched Nigeria drown in corruption and bad governance and kept their mouths shut.

Why? Because they are waiting for politicians to throw them a few peanuts to come and dance during campaigns.

“If Nigeria actually worked, many of them would still be earning royalties from movies they acted in decades ago.

Celebrities Join Politicians Destroying Nigeria, Skip Reforms

But instead of demanding a working system, they line up for the same politicians who destroy the country to use them.

“So don’t be shocked when you see them standing beside our oppressors.

Many of them are broke, desperate, and perfectly willing to sell their conscience to the highest bidder.”

“After all, conscience no dey put food for their table.”
